Like any slaw, there should be a dressing. The dressing I make for this is 3 fixings. THREE! New lime juice, agave and olive oil. For a rich variant include a tablespoon or two of mayonnaise to the dressing.
I made this to go with our supper (another formula I'll be imparting to you soon) however honestly it's heavenly all without anyone else. I both had bowls before toward the evening and after that I had an additional bowl with my supper. So dang great!

INGREDIENTS
VINAIGRETTE:
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons agave (or sugar)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
- 2 cups thinly sliced purple cabbage
- 2 carrots, peeled and julienned
- 3 green onions, sliced thin on an angle
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cilantro
- kosher salt, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add the lime juice and agave into a large bowl and slowly pour in the olive oil while whisking.
- Next, add in the cabbages, carrots, green onions and cilantro. Toss to combine, taste and season with salt as desired.
- Serve immediately.
