Vegan Onion Rings #vegetarian #snacks

I've constantly adored onion rings. Perhaps not as a child, yet later on in life I've begun to truly like onion rings as a firm and exquisite bite. In any case, fricasseed onion rings are not actually sound, so I simply needed to make a more advantageous vegetarian rendition of onion rings. What's more, these vegetarian onion rings are truly beyond words!

It's essential to utilize panko bread morsels for this formula. Panko bread morsels are customarily utilized in Asian-style dishes to give a firm covering. I don't prescribe supplanting the panko bread scraps with ordinary bread morsels as the veggie lover onion rings will be a lot crispier with panko bread pieces.

I feel that crunchy sustenances like onion rings are best served crisp out of the stove. Be that as it may, on the off chance that you have any scraps and need to warm them, it's conceivable. Be that as it may, I'm not the greatest devotee of warming onion rings.

They are incredibly easy to make, crispy, and delicious. Plus, they are oven-baked, which makes them so much healthier than fried onion rings!

  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs

  1. Combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika powder, nutritional yeast, salt, and unsweetened almond milk in a bowl and stir well.
  2. Peel the onions and cut them into about 1/4 inch rings. Carefully separate the rings from each other.
  3. Fill a bowl with panko flakes. Coat each onion ring in the flour spice mixture. Then coat it in the panko flakes afterwards.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the onion rings on top. Preheat the oven to 350 °F and bake them for 20 minutes. Flip them after 10 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately with ketchup or dip of choice.
