Waaaay superior to an exhausting old sandwich, look at these melty, hot stuffed petit torments. Bread is a superb thing – be it sweet toasties, wonderful brioche or brew bread moves (alright, perhaps sandwiches aren't that exhausting). You can't beat bread for a snappy lunch.

I realize bread is the ruler of carbiness (made up word?), yet dissimilar to a typical sandwich, you aren't eating the entire move here. A decent piece of the bread is scooped out and supplanted with the deliciously great filling.

Hi somewhat less carby outside of bread roll loaded up with what is very more calorific than the real bread was. Uh oh. In any case, what difference does it make? I had an organic product serving of mixed greens for my morning meal, so I certainly couldn't care less. This is somewhat of an interpretation of garlic bread, however kicked up an indent with the expansion of rich mushy mushrooms. It transforms a customary side dish into a feast in itself.

Produced using those part-heated moves you find on the bread path, the filling is cooked simultaneously as the bread, so the cooking time is only 10 minutes.

These Smooth Garlic and Mushroom Stuffed Bread Rolls have scrumptious velvety garlic cheesiness stuffed into petit skillet and prepared until brilliant dark colored. Overly simple to make and prepared in a short time!

Ingredients
  • 4 part-baked petit pains or rolls Use gluten-free part-baked rolls if required – they’re pretty easy to get hold of
  • 8 small mushrooms sliced
  • 120 g (1/2 cup) cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and crushed
  • 75 g (3/4 cup, firmly packed) mature cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Chopped fresh parsley to serve

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F.
  2. Take the part baked rolls out of the packaging and place on a chopping board. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut out an oblong hole from the top of the rolls. Scoop out the bread, ensuring you don’t piece the bottom of the rolls. Place the rolls on a baking tray. Discard the scooped out bread (or save and cook later with some drizzled on garlic butter).
  3. Mix together the mushrooms, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise and garlic in a bowl. Stir in half the cheese and the black pepper. Spoon the mixture into the bread rolls and top with the remaining cheese.
  4. Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes – until the bread and cheese is golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
